Your Friendly 2025 - 2026 PTO Board 

ARTS IMMERSION FOCUS: One of the cornerstones of our educational philosophy is to support the integration of arts immersion into the school. We strongly believe that exposure to various art forms, such as music, visual arts, theater, and dance, not only enriches students' creativity but also promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The PTO plays a significant role in supporting arts programs during the course of the school year.

ART-FOCUSED RESIDENCIES: Igniting the Flame of Creativity At FAIR Pilgrim Lane, we strongly believe in the transformative power of the arts. To further enrich our students' educational journey, we are thrilled to introduce our school's art-focused residencies. These residencies will bring professional artists, performers, and educators into our classrooms, immersing our students in diverse artistic experiences that transcend traditional boundaries and ignite their passion for creativity. The Art Adventures program is held during the months of October and January. In addition, the residencies for each grade level are held throughout the year.

FUNDRAISING EFFORTS TO SUPPORT STUDENT LEARNING: As a parent-teacher organization, we understand the importance of financial support in delivering exceptional educational opportunities. Throughout the year, we organize various fundraising events and initiatives to gather resources that directly benefit the school. Every dollar raised goes towards enhancing the educational experience and promoting a nurturing learning environment for our children. Our fundraising includes: Gift Wrap Fundraiser (10/16 - 11/3), Spring Boosterthon (5/15 - 5/23), Len Busch Roses (April/May).

PTO COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS:  Beyond supporting the school financially, we take great pride in fostering a strong sense of community among our learners and their families. Throughout the academic year, we organize and sponsor events that bring families and teachers together to celebrate learning and create lasting memories. These events not only provide a chance to bond but also encourage a sense of belonging and inclusivity among all members of the school community. The events include the Summer Playdates, STEAM Night, “Night of the Arts”, Fall Festival, 5th Grade FAIRwell and Family Literacy Nights.

GET INVOLVED AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE: We invite each and every one of you to actively participate in our PTO initiatives. Whether you have a talent to share, time to volunteer, or ideas to contribute, your involvement can make a significant impact on the success of our mission. Together, we can continue to support our children's growth and create an environment where they can flourish. There are opportunities to help in the Community Garden, September Cafeteria Support, Book Fairs, and classroom activities.

The PTO supports the FAIR Pilgrim Lane Garden, with Leslie Johnson taking a leadership role as the Garden Master. The involvement of parents over the years has contributed to making the garden a success. If you're looking to volunteer or stay updated on garden activities, check back her to see whats going on. It's great to see such community effort in maintaining and enhancing the garden!
