STAGES THEATER "I CAN" STATEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF OCT. 2nd

Ms. Trudy will be working on:

• I can identify the ways gestures and movement may be used to retell a story. I can recognize a non-fiction text. I can use my body to demonstrate sequencing. 
• I can relate character experiences and emotions  from “The Day You Begin” to my own experiences. I can prepare to see the show at Stages by learning choreography to one of the songs. 
• While looking at slides, I can identify the cause and the effect. I can use my body to create statues. I can use those statues to demonstrate cause and effect. 
• I can identify character traits. I can use my body and voice to portray specific characters. I can perform a scripted scene for an audience. I can demonstrate good audience etiquette. 
• I can create original ideas by working collaboratively with a small group to discuss a character and their given circumstances.
