STAGES THEATER "I CAN" STATEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 16TH

Ms. Trudy will be working on:

K - I can identify physical character traits. I can use movement to portray different characters.

1 - I can learn and execute choreography. I can use dance to tell a story.

2- I can connect  basic dance vocabulary to the corresponding movement. I can learn and execute choreography. I can use a prop while dancing.

3 - I can share my knowledge of black history. I can follow agreed upon rules to participate in large group discussions. I can learn from other’s experiences. I can participate in an ensemble read of  the script “Black History Is American History.

4 -  I can recognize the 12 power words. I can identify traits of specific characters and provide evidence from the text to support my opinion. I can project my voice and enunciate while reading with expression as part of an ensemble

 5 - I can rehearse and perform my play for an audience. I can demonstrate excellent audience etiquette.
