STAGES THEATER "I CAN" STATEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 12th

Ms. Trudy will be working on:

K - I can use movement to retell a story in a guided drama experience. I can identify ocean animals.

1- I can color words, project my voice and enunciate. I can read with expression using pitch, tone and inflection. 

2-  I can identify the needs of a plant. I can collaborate with a small group to create choreography to demonstrate a specific need. I can perform for my class. I can identify the qualities of a good audience.   

3. I can recognize persuasive language. I can collaborate with a group of peers to create a commercial. I can use my imagination,  alliteration and rhyming to generate a name for my product.  

4 -  I can use my actor tools to portray the character I chose for my monologue. I can memorize and rehearse my monologue.

5 - I can demonstrate my knowledge of stage directions. I can understand that Musical theater is a genre that blends singing, acting and dancing to tell a story. I can transition to a new space, rehearse and perform in a musical performance adding costumes and lights.
