STAGES THEATER "I CAN" STATEMENTS FOR THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 10TH

Ms. Trudy will be working on:

K - I can participate in an ensemble reading. I can identify site words. I can read with expression.

1 -  I can recall words and phrases from a story. I can use my imagination to visualize the setting, characters and events in a story. I can use my imagination and voice to create sounds from the story. 

2 - I can use my knowledge of theatre to participate in a critical analysis discussion of “Don’t Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus”

3 -  I can identify simple stage directions ( SL, SR, US, DS,CS) . I can add blocking and gestures to my lines. I can listen and wait quietly for my cue. I can  memorize my lines.I can review choreography.

4 - I can contribute ideas for the “Connecting Generations script.. I can explore the themes of culture, tradition, unity and change. I can learn and execute choreography. 

5 - I can increase my knowledge of stage directions. I can identify 9 areas of the stage. I can give an actor directions to move on the stage. (blocking) I can understand the meaning of blocking and cheating out.
