Spotlight on STAGES features Unity Assemblies:
A small group of 2nd graders performed One, a play inspired by Kathryn Otoshi’s beloved book. Through their performance at our K–2 Unity Assembly, they taught fellow students the importance of standing up, standing together, and counting — while celebrating each other’s differences. Their message reminded everyone that sometimes it just takes one voice to make everyone count.
Our 4th graders also took the stage with Staying in Step with Second Step, a lively, game show–style play based on our Second Step curriculum. Their performance helped students learn how to recognize, prevent, and stand up to bullying — reinforcing the importance of kindness, empathy, and courage in our school community.
