FOOD PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES

FOOD PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES

With the government shut down and SNAP benefits ending November 1st we wanted to provide you with some other possible options for your family to obtain food if needed.  At FAIR we currently are partnered with Every Meal, and you can still join.  If you would like to participate, please fill out this form with the color bag you would like.

Below are other options that might also work for you and your family:

  • Hennepin Waypoint has links to meals, food shelves, and food stamps/SNAP service centers.

  • PRISM has a food shelf and produce distribution.

  • CEAP has a food assistance program.

  • WIC women, infant, children food program.

  • Hennepin County Food Resource Map to find free food boxes, meals, and food shelves.

  • Hunger Impact Partners

  • Hunger Solutions

  • Fare for All-Fare For All is a pop-up grocery store. They sell packs of fresh produce and frozen meat at up to 40% off of retail prices. Everyone and anyone can shop at Fare For All across 30+ pop up sites in the Twin Cities and Greater MN. Shop for quality, nutritious foods at discount and budget-friendly prices. They follow a co-op model, so the more people who shop, the better the discounts. The pop-up locations and hours vary and can be found on their schedule page
