Meet the Office Staff
PRINCIPAL NANCY FROELICH
Nancy Benz Froelich is the principal of Pilgrim Lane Elementary. She has been in education for 36 years and has a wealth of experience as a teacher, athletic coach, mentor, and administration. Principal Froelich started her teaching career in 1989 in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She spent 16 years in Robbinsdale Schools as a classroom teacher, teaching various grade levels. She also served as an Instructional Assistant at Neill Elementary School and a District Math Mentor Leader in the Robbinsdale Area Schools. Prior to this, she was a principal and assistant principal in Westonka and Eden Prairie Schools. She returned to Robbinsdale Area Schools and was the principal at Meadow Lake Elementary School before joining FAIR Pilgrim Lane Elementary School.
Principal Froelich received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and her Principal Licensure were obtained from Hamline University. Principal Froelich also received the distinguished honor of leading a school to the Blue Ribbon School Award, a National Education award and the highest distinction in education. She also led school to be named the Top Workplaces and the StarTribune Schools that Beat the Odds listing.

SECRETARY - CHRIS BUSH
Chris Bush serves as the secretary at FAIR Pilgrim Lane Elementary School With extensive experience in educational administration, Chris is a valuable resource for both parents and students, adeptly guiding them through the elementary school environment. Her comprehensive understanding of school operations and commitment to supporting families ensures that everyone feels welcomed and informed, contributing to a positive and nurturing atmosphere within the school community.
OFFICE ASSISTANT - ANNETTE SALAZAR
Ms. Salazar serves as the welcoming face of our school, greeting parents and families with warmth and professionalism. In her role as Office Assistant, she collaborates directly with parents on essential matters such as transportation arrangements, early student pickups, attendance tracking, and coordinating field trips. Ms. Salazar's approachable demeanor and organizational skills ensure that families receive clear guidance and support, contributing to the smooth operation of our school's daily activities.
